My Story...

Descended from Italian aristocracy, I'm a proud adopted Londoner now after years spent visiting and living in a variety of countries.

Those of you who have met me in person know that I'm a sophisticated and passionate individual, and this comes across in my writing and other art. Enthusiasm and energy are part of who I am, what drives me. I need make no apology for this.

Writing is the true lynchpin of my personal expression, it's my favourite way of sharing. I write in every form I can get my hands on. Short stories, plays, fiction, non-fiction, semi-fiction, comedy, poetry, essays, longer prose, songs.

I'm constantly brimming with creative energy and ideas, and sometimes there simply aren't enough hours in the day to set down all your creations in a satisfactory form in addition to living. But despite the challenges, I think those of us who have the ability to create living work that touches and inspires people have a duty to share their gift as much as possible. You must create what you can, because it benefits everyone.

To encourage this I founded the Artists & Saboteurs movement with the great writer and creative artist Ruaidhri James. We wanted to establish a formal but fluid structure for the production of all sorts of art with a certain strong ethos. We want to meet and encourage others to express their own big and powerful ideas, to say the things that need to be said, for their audiences to enjoy and grow as much as possible.
